The Office of the City Clerk is responsible for administrating elections and maintaining the Statewide Voter Registration System. The clerk's office is the legal custodian of official city records and acts as liaison between the public, city departments, and the Common Council.
The clerk’s office is also responsible for:
- Issuing licenses including alcohol, bartender, cigarette, direct seller, taxi-cab, and others
- Billing of special assessments
- Publishing all legal notices and public meeting notices
- The Board of Review
The polling location for District 6 voters will be changing to Lincoln Park, Cabin 1, 1215 N. 8th St. starting with the November 6, 2018 General Election. Check your polling location online at MyVote.wi.gov, or by calling the City Clerk at 920-686-6950.
This year Trick-or-Treat will be held on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the City of Manitowoc. Please be sure to turn ON your porch light if you're participating, and turn it OFF if you are not. Happy Halloween!
