Dine 4 The K9 - The Smiling Moose Saloon & Grill

Sunday, September 15, 2019

Looking for a place to watch the Green Bay Packers play their rival the Minnesota Vikings? The Smiling Moose is the perfect place for you to hang out with friends while cheering on the Pack! The Smiling Moose is known for their excellent food and priding themselves in the "everybody's welcome" atmosphere. The Smiling Moose will not disappoint you from sun up to sun down as you can enjoy a hearty breakfast or a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers and homemade soups throughout the day. Wait, there's more--they have Live Bands every Sunday night from 4-8 p.m. Stop on out on Sunday, September 15th as The Smiling Moose will be donating 15% back of their daily receipts to the Manitowoc Police Department K9 Unit! What more could you ask for---good food, Packer game, Live music and a good cause all packed into one place!

The Smiling Moose is participating in the MTPD's month long restaurant fundraiser, as September is National Service Dog Month where it is time to pay them back for their service to our communities!

The Manitowoc Police Department's K9 Unit is supported by donations and grants. These donations and grants support daily expenses of the program, along with training for the K9 handlers, training equipment and even replacement of a K9. The Manitowoc Police Department K9 Unit is fortunate to have two K9's, Major and Neko, who have been wonderful additions to our police force. Police canines perform a variety of different tasks within the law enforcement department like catching criminals, sniffing out drugs and rescuing the lost. We truly appreciate your continued support and generosity!
