Whether it’s things that go bump in the night or the terrifying way that the skin on a peach makes your teeth feel overly dry, there are plenty of alarming tales to tell! Why not tell yours at “BOO!”—the second installment of MPL’s and Gore House—we mean, Court House Pub’s storytelling series, “The Witness Stand.” No props, no notes. Just five minutes and a true, scarifying tale to tell. The important thing to remember is that this is an evening of true storytelling—not stand-up comedy, poetry, political manifestos, lecturing, or doing a reading from an unpublished werewolf/zombie/alien love triangle novel. Time for your story be heard! See you at CHP, 1001 S. 8th Street, at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 24—IF YOU DARE! Sign-up begins at 5:30 PM. Admission is FREE!!! However, beverages and food will be available for purchase. All the chilling specifics can be found at www.manitowoclibrary.org/witness.
