The City of Manitowoc has implemented MyGov, a permitting and inspections software program that also offers a Collaborator Portal for Contractors to apply and pay online for permitted projects, access building permit information, schedule inspections, and see the status of their projects.


All contractors performing work in the City of Manitowoc shall complete the following to identify contractors who possess a valid and active state license and / or perform permitted work in the City of Manitowoc.

  1. Apply for a Collaborator Account

  2. Complete a Local Contractor Registration in MyGov or Return this Form before submitting a permit application. There is no charge for this registration. 

  3. If the local registration requires proof of a state license, the first and last name of the contact must be the state license holder.
