General Information
Evergreen Cemetery cherishes the time-honored tradition of in-ground interment. In-ground burials on traditional spaces involve the lot which can accommodate one traditional burial plus one cremation OR two cremations, the memorial stone or marker and the vault. Evergreen Cemetery requires the use of a burial vault with a casket, which maintains the grave and protects the casket. A basic vault meets cemetery requirements, as does a vault with a liner, which offers greater protection to the casket. Vaults are available for purchase through your funeral director.
Evergreen Cemetery requires foundations for memorial markers. Memorial markers are encouraged, but not required, and are available for purchase through a local monument dealer. Memorials at Evergreen Cemetery can be flush with the lawn or upright and can be made of bronze or granite and personalized to remember a loved one.
