The 2017 Art of conversation Series kicks off with Twin Cities based artist and illustrator Emily Taylor presenting 'Learning to See with a Child's Heart,' a fun and interactive opportunity to learn about her career as an illustrator of children's storybooks and her artwork. The presentation will take place in the Rahr-West Art Museum's Ruth west Gallery on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1pm Taylor's career includes illustration, murals, and classical arts. She focuses on depictions of life, saying: "As an Artist, I am interested in how the impact of creating and of viewing imagery can be used as a tool to invoke a positive effect, both physically and emotionally. I am inspired by the hope that my artwork may be used as a tool, to connect people and communities, through visual representations of shared experiences."
