Jill Chadek, textile artist, is joining us as part of our Art of Conversation Series on Thursday, May 18 at 1 p.m. She will discuss felting, the technique of creating fabric from fiber. Chadek will show us examples of this art form ranging from delicate, light-as-a-cloud scarves and shawls to the more durable jackets and hats. She will walk us through the process of how loose individual wool fibers can be transformed into sturdy, long wearing garments.
