Saturday, May  6th will be the opening day of the Farmers Market from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm in scenic downtown Manitowoc just north of the Manitowoc Public Library along the Manitowoc River at the Norttheast corner of South 8th and Quay Streets. The market is comprise of area vendors whose goal is to provide a quality outlet to purchase locally grown, fruits, vegetables and flowers, farm fresh meats, eggs, dairy products, breads and baked goods. The market also features specialty foods and unique handcrafted items by area artisans.
