The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region invites you to attend a public construction update meeting to discuss the reconstruction of Waldo Boulevard (US10) in the city of Manitowoc. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at Manitowoc City Hall, Council Chambers, 900 Quay Street, Manitowoc,WI from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. A short project introduction will be made at 5:15 p.m.
Waldo Blvd. will be reconstructed from County R to 14th Street beginning in March 2020. This includes the replacement of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, new roadway pavement, and sidewalks. The project is anticipated to finish by November 2020. A project website is located at projects.511wi.gov/waldo/
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the upcoming construction schedule and traffic impacts. WisDOT staff and the construction contractor will be available to answer questions and discuss the project on an individual basis. Businesses in the project work area can receive information regarding temporary business signing. We encourage you to attend the meeting and share your comments, or concerns about the project with one of our staff members.
