Join Mayor Justin Nickels, City staff, and members of Grow It Forward, Inc. in celebrating the completion of an 18’x36’ greenhouse at the South 14th Street Community Garden, 2344 S 14th Street, Manitowoc.  The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 22nd with a short tour to follow.  Garden resources, free seeds, and information on summer programming will be provided.  


The greenhouse will allow Grow It Forward to increase local food production and provide year-round garden programming for the community.  The project was paid for by the City of Manitowoc and by Grow It Forward, Inc. through a grant received by the West Foundation, Inc.
