[ARCHIVED] Subscribe to City of Manitowoc Notifications - Stay Connected!

Notify Me - Website and App

There are two ways you can subscribe to notifications: via the City website (www.manitowoc.org) or the City of Manitowoc app (available on Google Play and the App Store)

There are three categories of notifications you can subscribe to:  Alert Center, Calendars, and Newsflash/Community News.

ALERT CENTER notifications include:

  • City of Manitowoc Government Closures
  • Drill Alerts
  • Flood Warnings
  • Snow Emergencies
  • Thunderstorm Warnings
  • Tornado Warnings
  • Winter Parking Bans
  • Winter Storm Warnings

CALENDAR notifications are available for the following divisions/departments:

  • Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center
  • Clerk
  • Lincoln Park Zoo
  • Manitowoc Public Library
  • Maritime Metro Transit
  • Mayor's Youth Action Council
  • Metro Stage at Washington Park
  • Mini-Golf Course
  • Parks
  • Manitowoc Police Department
  • Rahr-West Art Museum
  • Recreation
  • Senior Center

NEWSFLASH/COMMUNITY NEWS notifications are available for the following divisions/departments:

  • Clerks
  • Community Development
  • Engineering
  • Evergreen Cemetery
  • Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department
  • Mayor
  • Parks and Recreation
  • Manitowoc Police Department
  • Public Infrastructure
  • Rahr-West Art Museum
  • Senior Center

If you'd like to subscribe using the website, visit www.manitowoc.org, and click on Notify Me.  Sign in using your email address, and you will be prompted to subscribe to any of the above lists that you choose either by email or by text message.

If you'd like to subscribe using the City of Manitowoc app, begin by downloading the app from the App Store (for iphones or Apple devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).  Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the app, and there you can select which notifications you'd like to receive.
