To help protect the turf, prevent mud pits, and prevent longer closures in the year, the dog park at Halvorsen Park, 3110 Mero St., Manitowoc, is temporarily closed.  It is anticipated that the dog park will remain closed for a few weeks to dry out.  The opening date will depend on the weather.
