[ARCHIVED] Bank First Donates Scoreboards to City Parks

Nevco scoreboard donated by Bank First at Lincoln Park 2022

Bank First recently donated three 10’ LED scoreboards with wireless controls from Nevco, which are valued at approximately $19,000.  Two of the scoreboards will be located at the City of Manitowoc’s ball diamonds on the northwest side of Citizen Park and one will be located at the Lincoln Park ball diamond.  The Bank First logo will also be added to an existing 10’ scoreboard at Westfield Park.

Bank First personnel saw a need for new scoreboards as the old ones were nearing their end of life and were having periodic operational issues.  In addition, the old scoreboards used incandescent bulbs, which used more electricity and cost more to maintain, so personnel from Bank First approached City of Manitowoc staff about replacing the scoreboards.  The new scoreboards have energy efficient LED lighting and are better able to withstand vibrations and changes in weather conditions.
