City of Manitowoc to Hold Public Open House

The City of Manitowoc will hold a Public Open House on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at The Venue at Union Square located at 702 York Street. 

The public is invited to share input and feedback in the development of the Comprehensive Plan Update and Comprehensive Park and Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) regarding topics including housing, neighborhood development, tourism and business development, as well as the parks & recreation system.

The Comprehensive Plan is the long-term plan for the City’s growth and identifies strategies to enhance the overall quality of life in our community over the next 20 years. The CORP sets a strategic plan for the maintenance and improvement of the community’s park and recreation system for the next five years.
