How do I know what level swim lessons to enroll my child into?: If you child is under five years old, he or she should be enrolled into the Tot Swim program (Infant Swim if under 3 years old). If you child is five or older, he or she should begin with Level One. If they have participated in lessons with another organization, please view our Swim Lessons page to see the various skills practiced in each level. If they have participated through the Recreation Division previously, we can see the last level they have signed up for, but do not know if they have passed.

1. How do I know what level swim lessons to enroll my child into?: If you child is under five years old, he or she should be enrolled into the Tot Swim program (Infant Swim if under 3 years old). 2. How deep is the Lincoln High School pool?: The Lincoln High School pool ranges in depth from 3'6" to 10'. The water is heated to about 79 degrees.

3. Can my child participate in the Playground program on a "drop in" basis?: Any child (ages 4-15) may participate in the Playground programs. However, registration is required through the Recreation Division office, as this is not a "drop in" activity. All children, however, may participate in the Friday field trips.

4. How do I know if an activity has been cancelled?: Outdoor activities may be cancelled due to the weather. Any cancellations will be updated on our cancellation page and the Recreation Facebook page. Evening activity cancellations will not be announced prior to 4:15 pm.
If for some reason another activity must be cancelled, an email will be sent out to all participants of that particular program.

5. How deep is the Wilson Junior High pool?: The Wilson Junior High pool ranges in depth from 3'6" to 8'6". The water is heated to between 82-84 degrees.

6. How deep is the Riverview School pool?: The Riverview pool ranges in depth from 0' to 5". The pool is heated to about 88 degrees.

7. How deep is the Washington Junior High pool?: The Washington Junior High pool ranges in depth from 3'6" to 9'. The water is heated to between 82-84 degrees.
