General Information
The South 14th Street Parkland, which consists of 8.09 acres, was donated to the city for parkland. It has a mixture of trees with rolling terrain, and a small pond in the center. The southwestern portion of the property adjoins Monroe Elementary School.
Community Built Garden
In 2015, a community-built garden was constructed on just under two acres of parkland under the direction of the Grow It Forward organization, and a ribbon cutting event was held on April 22, 2021 for a greenhouse. For more information about the garden or to reserve a garden bed, please visit www.grow-it-forward.org or call Grow It Forward at (920) 645-9467.
